Hi Plex Family,
I just wanted to remind everyone that I have a service setup to allow you to search for movies and TV shows and make requests if there is something you want that I do not have. I get a notification for these requests and once I approve them they will automatically be downloaded and added to Plex.
You can access my Plex Requests site at
https://requests.caluette.com from any browser. When logging in, select the option to use your Plex account.
There is also a mobile app version available for Android and iOS. The app is called Ombi and is $0.99 on both platforms, but seems to be nice. You can use the links at the bottom of this email to purchase and download the app.
To use the Ombi mobile app:
- Download and install the app for your device.
- Open a web browser on your device and navigate to my Plex Requests URL (https://requests.caluette.com).
- Sign in with your Plex account.
- Once you are signed in, click the menu button in the top right corner of the page and select "Open Mobile App".
- The Ombi app will launch and automatically sign you in using the same account you logged into the browser version with.
- You can now use the Ombi app directly from your device to conveniently submit requests or browse for new things to request.
